We have a number of children attending the centre with potentially life threatening food allergies and have a very strict policy on food handling within the centre.  At all times staff will attempt to minimise the more high risk foods at the centre, for example nuts, egg and shellfish and parents are also asked not to bring foods (other than fresh fruit) into the centre.

Children are supplied with a large proportion of their nutritional needs while at the Centre.   A cook is employed, and every day we are responsible for ensuring that the children are offered 50 - 75% of their daily nutritional needs as recommended by the NSW Dept. of Health.  All meals are planned as part of the total day’s menu and the weekly menu plans are posted around the centre for parents to easily access.
