The centre started with parental support and still relies on voluntary help from parents. 

Each family is encouraged to contribute in some way to the Centre thereby ensuring it’s ongoing improvement and maintaining the community feel.  You may chose to attend meetings and perhaps join the Management Committee, volunteer your services for maintenance, or join the staff taking children on excursions.

Regardless of your skill base or work status, by volunteering your time and skill you will be participating in your child’s care and also helping to keep the fees as low as possible.

Fundraising is also very important to the centre and enables us to upgrade our existing facilities and provide new ones.  This year the centre will be completely repainted as a result of fundraising activities and the wish list of other items grows longer each month.  Our new goal is to replace the Grasshoppers playground which is expected to cost approximately $60 to $70 thousand.  For more information on fundraising and how you can help, click here.
